Returns and refunds

Cancellations

We cannot guarantee any cancellations or any changes once your order has been completed, but we are occasionally able to make changes to orders that have not yet shipped. Orders that have already begun the packaging and shipping process cannot be changed or cancelled. Please ensure your order details and delivery address are accurate.

Damages and Issues

If your order arrives damaged or with defects, notify us within 7 days of delivery to qualify for return/replacement/refund.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, we will do our best to help you.

To report an issue, please reach out to contact@happychico.com and provide the following:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Photos of the damage to the item

Exchanges

Happy Chico does not offer traditional exchanges. Please submit a request for return, which will be reviewed. As well as a separate new purchase for the new item.

Returns

At Happy Chico, we have a 15-day return policy from the date of confirmed delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in all its original packaging. As well, proof of purchase in the form of your original order confirmation, including the order number.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Items marked as Final Sale
  • Items 15 days past the delivery date
  • Gift Cards
  • Items that have been worn, washed, assembled, used, or unpackaged
  • Items that do not include their attached original tags and packaging
  • Items with damaged packaging (excluding damage from shipping) or items missing their original packaging
  • Perishable goods (such as food, or treats), custom products (such as special order, pre-order, or personalized items and care goods (such as hygiene and grooming items).
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Refunds and Fees

Please note we will not be able to accept a cancellation or return for any item marked Final Sale, and will not issue a refund for items marked as Final Sale.

Refunds will not be issued for an incorrect delivery name and or address provided at the time of ordering.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you will be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Unapproved returns will not be refunded.  Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received notice of refund, please contact us at contact@happychico.com

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds do not include shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, or there is damage or defects.

A 15% restocking fee will be charged to you unless the return is due to our error, or there is damage or defects. The 15% will automatically be deducted from the refund amount.
